Rings Arrive

(Tampa Bay) - The Lightning have recieved their Cup rings today and the excitement of a new season was everywhere today. With the Cup on the ring, it is easy to see how everyone wants one of these. The owners have been very generous in giving these rings to some people that deserve it behind the scenes. The training staff all recieved one for their hard work over the last few seasons, especially getting Mario healthy and ready for the playoffs. The equipment manager recieved one for his tiredless work on keeping the equipment up and running and ensuring the players are happy. The team doctor recieved one with all his time he spent for the team and ensuring players are healthy before playing. The team's pilot recieved one for all the late nights and crappy weather he had to fly in for the team.

The players recieved theirs in a parade at the Arena where Owners, players, the coach and Gm Sprackman showed off the sparkling new rings to fans. Fans had a chance to mingle with players and talk to them, get autographs and pictures with the team that brought the holy grail to Tampa Bay.

"This is the ending to a great run we had last season and now we can concentrate on repeating our efforts this season." Mario stated to the fans. "I look forward to playing as hard as last season and hopefully we can repeat as Cup winners for this fantastic city."

With the rings on the fingers the only thing left is the raising of the banner which will happen sometime in the near future. The team is waiting on the schedule to be sent out so we can pick a date to raise it to the rafters.
