Jr. Sens Still on top
The Ottawa Senators may still be the laughing stock of the CLUTCH, but the Jr. Sens continue to make their mark in Jr. CLUTCH as they stand in first in the Campbell Conference and only 3 points out of 1st overall.
The Sens are riding the new found scoring touch of Chris Kelley and Alexander Golovin into the second half of this Jr. Season. Golovin leads the Jr's in scoring with 35 points while Kelley is a close 2nd with 32, most of which have come in the last 20 games.
The real story is the complete team effort as 16 players are in double digits for points and their gritty style has them pounding opponents into the ground.
Viktor Oreskovich, an 18 year old winger, has earned himself his first start of the year as he'll slide into the 3rd line. Viktor has had 2 outstanding camps and has gained 2 OV rating points among critics and drastically improved his DF and SC as the season has progressed.
