Blues look to elimanate Hawks

Even with the retrun of the Hawks netminder Dan Cloutier the Blackhawks where unable to get the puck past Blues netminder Martin Brodeur. Brodeur once again was awesome in his bid to win his first ever Conn Smythe the Blues netminder stopped another 30 shots and the 3 that got by him where not enough to stop his team as the Blues top 2 lines woke up to score 5. Led by Kapanens goal and assist after being called out by team captain Brad Richards it seems to have motivated the Blues top winger who scored late in the 2nd and had an assist on the PK as coach Paul Maurice rolled the dice and put a more offencive flavor to his PK. After the game Paul Maurice had these comments, "We have one of the best PP in the game and our PK has yet to be stopped. Kapanen played most of the season on defence so i wasn't really concerned that he would be a liability on the PK. When i saw him break up the ice and Hammy got that pass up to him i knew he wouldn't be stopped. A great backpass took Ozo out of the play and after that it was a simple tap in for Michal Handzus who scored his 2nd of the series.
The Blues will now be looking to put an end to the Hawks season in tommorrows game and many fans are expected a sweep in the series will be bringing there brooms in hopes of being able to toss them on the ice with a win. Blues GM Foley had these comments, "We definately have them on the ropes but the 4th win is always the hardest. We know we are in for a battle and missing one of our top shutdown guys in Ethan we will have to fight hard to make this our last game of the series. Brodeur can hopefully shutdown the Hawks offence once again and the penalties hopefully will be adressed."
