Tampa Splits on Long Island

(New York) - Tonight the Lightning and Islanders will play game 3 of their series and the Bolts come home with a surprising split in the series. When asked about the situation, Gm Sprackman downplayed the game and said that he feels the Lightning will play hard but this isn't the season for them.

"I said all along we would win one game in this series. I thought we could win one at home and give the fans something to cheer about. After that sad first game, I thought we were done in 4. This will atleast ensure 5 games in the series and maybe some insight on how the team will stack up next season." Gm Sprackman stated.

Game one was not one Gm Sprackman or the players and coaches wanted to talk about. An 8-1 killing was something Gm Sprackman wasn't expecting. In Game 2, a more tightly played game and the Lightning came away with a 3-1 win. All people involved with the Bolts are hoping for a similar game in Tampa tonight, but like Cullen says:

"We kept Sakic and Peca relatively quiet last night, I doubt we can do it for 3 more wins. They are a great 1-2 up the middle and we expect a very hard game tonight."

Once again, Hurme will get the call in net and look for some more play for Hejduk and Savard. Will this be another blow out or shall we see another tight game. In about 6 hours, we shall find out.
