Oilers Resign Aucoin

Early this morning it has been confirmed that the Edmonton Oilers have struck a new deal with their star defensman Adrian Aucoin. Aucoin was acquired last season by the Oilers from the Sharks and led the Oilers Defense in points with 56 on the year and +/- with an outstanding +23. Aucoin has been Nominated as one of the 5 players contending for the Norris trophy this year and He was 7th in Defensman points in the league this past season.
