Cup arrives in Wainwright

(Wainwright, Alberta) - The Stanley Cup was something Gm Sprackman wanted from the day he took of the Tampa Bay Lightning. He made some moves that people questioned, like moving Vinnie and Brad and brought in a slew of young talent. After 2 seasons of not playing very well, Gm Sprackman went the other way and traded young players for talent now. As it turned out, one post season and one Stanley Cup later, it was the right move. The team was built around defence and Gm Sprackman made some huge deals that saw McLaren, Brewer, Jillson, Svehla and Girard join team Captain and #1 Dman in Tampa Kubina. Not only did Gm Sprackman get great defence but they are all young, except Svehla. They should all stay together for atleast 2 more seasons and provide great defence for the team. Gm Sprackman has stated in talks on the chat room that he might go in the other direction again and trade for youth but right now the defence is pretty well set for the up coming season. Offensively, the team has traded many players over the pass 3 seasons but the 2 of the biggest moves was bringing in Savard and the best center the team has ever had, Mario Lemieux. Combined, they lead the team to victory all season long and Mario was fantastic with 40 goals even though he only played 65 games. Full season and he would have passed 50. With all players coming back for another season, Gm Sprackman is hopeful another cup is there for the taking.

Now today in Wainwright, Gm Sprackman is proud to bring the cup around town for all folks to see. Many people were out to see the Cup and show the appreciation to the owners and Gm Sprackman for providing the area with a chance to showcase the cup. With all the days events over, Gm Sprackman was back on a plane to Tampa to start getting ready for the draft and to look over all deals that maybe pending. Another year? Maybe but Gm Sprackman is just happy he had as chance to win the cup in such a competitive league like the Clutch.
