Rangers happy with rebound win
Rangers GM David Burns was pleased to see his team rebound from an ugly opening loss in the preseason to win a close hard fought game. In the openener against Minnesota the Rangers looked out of synch and completly self destructed in the third period getting out shot 18 - 9 and out scored 2-1. In the game last night the Rangers played a tight team game against a very derermined Flyers team and won 1-0. "Dunham has been outstanding the last two games. He only gave up 3 goals on 37 shots the first game and none last night," mused Burns. "That's very encouraging. We're tinkering with the line up... putting left winger Polcik right wing on the third line with Nash for instance. The lines played well but we'll continue to look for chemistry." When asked if any trade talks were happening Burns replied "Nothing at the moment but our # 1 priority continues to be to upgrade our defence."
