Bruins pass on enrolling players in IT camp
The Providence Bruins issued a press release over the weekend, announcing their lack of participating in Training Camps.
"While we believe that training camps are a critical part of the development of our young players," the statement began, "we also recognize that on-ice time is as critical, if not more so. As such, while the league has been gracious enough to offer a camp on intensity, the Providence Bruins will have to forego this opportunity. We look forward to participating in future training camp experiences and believe our players will continue to benefit from the teaching of the league in how to play the game the proper way."
The Providence Bruins are the Junior League squad associated with the CLUTCH Hockey Club of Boston, the Boston Bruins. The team is currently 16-33-1 in the Wales Junior conference, and has the worst Junior League record in CLUTCH Jr with only thirty-three points in fifty games. In contrast, the parent club has fifty-three points in fifty games.
