Oleg Saprykin and Bruins GM spotted
As the Bruins were skating at Nationwide Arena in preparation for their game against the Blue Jackets - which they would ultimately win in a laughing stock - Boston GM Joshua Anderson was spotted sitting with two men, one of whom looked like Oleg Saprykin, at The Elevator, a Columbus brewery on High Street, just a few blocks from the arena.
Saprykin, whose last contract demand put forth to the team was for $2 million a year for three years, plus $1 million in signing bonus, has been seen recently around the team, sparking rumors of his imminent signing.
GM Joshua Anderson, who was once again spotted enjoying some of the city of Columbus' more entertaining - and expensive - aspects, was caught by WCMH at Kahoots, enjoying his "food with a view", as the Club website promises.
"I'll only say that the player and I had a fine lunch, and it was good to catch up and hear about his latest girlfriend and other conquests. In fact, he recommended the strip steak here. We hope, as I said before, to make a formal offer to him shortly. Now please - I paid twenty dollars, I want my money worth."
No other comments came from the Saprykin camp.
