Lightning Dominate..but fall to Canes

(Tampa) - The Lightning outplayed, outhit but didn't out score the Canes last night and a bad 3rd period lead to a 4-2 loss. Despite what the crack smoking Gm in Carolina wrote, they were far from dominating and with bad timings on penalties, the Lightning should have faired better.

"Not sure what game Mark was watching but it wasn't a hockey game thats for sure. We outplayed them in every aspect but again, bad penalties and bad goaltending let us down." Gm Sprackman was quoted after readiing the retarded comments of the Canes Gm. "If you look at the teams, the Canes have 2 more wins....whooopy...If we faired as weel in OT as they have, we be right up there too. But enough on the Canes, our team played well for 37 minutes and Vaananen took the game away with a bad penalty in the 2nd. It cost us the win and may have cost us a playoff spot. I am going to talk to him today and discuss some of his play to see if we can sort out what he is doing wrong."

Up next, the Lightning play the Thrashers and if they don't win that game, might as well pack it in.
