Washington Hosts Chicago

The Washington Capitals put its two-game winning streak on the line on Day 153 when the Chicago Blackhawks come to town. The Capitals are sixth in the Wales Conference at 34-31-11, three points behind Philadelphia and two points ahead of New Jersey and Pittsburgh. Chicago is tied for second in the Campbell Conference at 41-30-6.

The Caps are led by Zigmund Palffy's 28 goals and 48 assists. Patrick Marleau adds 29 goals and 37 assists, while recent arrival David Vyborny has 58 points. Anson Carter contributes 26 goals and 30 assists, and Mikael Renberg is playing well with 21 goals and 34 assists.

On defense, Rob Blake has eight goals and 34 assists. Bryan Berard contributes 12 goals and 23 assists, and Dan Boyle is chipping in with 29 points.

In goal, Manny Legace is 27-26-8 with a 3.16 GAA and .883 save percentage. Peter Skudra is 6-5-3 with a 2.91 GAA and .894 save percentage.

Petr Sykora leads the Blackhawks attack with 43 goals and 47 assists. Scott Gomez adds 15 goals and 58 assists, while Niklas Sundstrom has 59 points. Yanic Perreault contributes 24 goals and 34 assists, and Ivan Kolzvary has 51 points.

On the blue line, Sandis Ozolinsh adds to the offense with 14 goals and 33 assists. Kenny Jonsson contributes 38 points.

Between the pipes, Dan Cloutier is 36-30-5 with a 3.08 GAA and .890 save percentage. Michael Leighton is 5-0-1 with a 3.02 GAA and .896 save percentage. Cloutier is suspended for playing in too many games.
