Bruins issue retraction
Boston Bruins GM Joshua Anderson issued a retraction of sorts from a previous diatribe.
"We've reviewed the game logs and noted that there were only two incidents we can find of the Carolina Hurricanes cheating by dressing a additional skater," Anderson began.
He continued, "We regret that some may have construed our statement as saying the Hurricanes dressed an illegal number of skaters in all games and made the playoffs due to being dirty sycophant ass clumps. The team obviously would have made the playoffs had they lost the two games in question, so the overall situation does not change."
Anderson paused, grinned, then completed his statement, "However, the facts remain the Hurricanes started an illegal number of players against the Bruins, and as such, we demand the victory be struck from their official record books! We refuse to recognize this loss and will not do so in any future references."
