Canucks happy to leave camp

The Vancouver Canucks broke training camp and headed to Annaheim to meet the Ducks.This game was a fairly evenly played one and the game was won 3-2 by the visitors. Jason King led the way with 2 goals and another youngster Gladskitk was rewarded with 2 assists. "It was nice to see the youngsters come threw for us" said a smiling gm Mr Blkhawk.Alex Ault stopped 21 of 23 shots and was very steady in the preseason opener.The pp needs some work as it went 0-4.

The Canucks then headed home for a game with division rivals Calgary.
This game should the old guys why the gm went out and installed some new blood.All 4 goals were scored by players that were aquired during the offseason.2 goals from Brad Richards including 1 on the pp led the Canucks to a 4-2 victory.Rick Nash and Karel Rachenek added the other goals. Again Alex Ault held us in the game until we got our skating legs. He stopped 29 of 31 shots and was named the 1st star of the game

Canucks travel to tinseltown for an afternoon encounter with the Kings. Hopefully they will be hungover for the early start.
