Sens BLAST BOOOINS
The Ottawa Senators are pumped after their 1st preseason matchup with their division rivals, the Boston Bruins. The Senators seemed to outmatch the Bruins as they outshot them 49-19! Almost 50 shots! I think we only had 50 shots all of last season!
One bright spot for the Sens was the 2 goal effort by Teemu Selanne which saw both his linemates; Kovalev and Morrisson, add 2 assists on each goal! That line was clicking well and GM Schmucky is excited to see how they will match up vs. some of the top lines in the league this season.
Another huge bright spot was the Two goal effort by Pierre-Marc Bouchard! After signing a whopping 3.8 million dollar deal in the offseason, Bouchard seems to be earning every penny in his first outing as he scored two beauties, one of which was shorthanded.
GM Schmucky is going to tweek the D lineups a bit before tonights matchup but won't change much else as it seems the team was alive and ready...REMEMBER FOLKS, It's only preseason!
