Ginger Ale the other Golden Drink

I recently heard a story of a guy who went thru a sobriety check on the road. Sitting there in his cup holder was a Golden Beverage in a plastic cup. This refreshing drink wasnt what you normally think it was. As the driver told the officer its not what you think it is the officer asked to smell it. The officer nodded an the driver continues on to his destination. See the driver is a diabetic and his diet Ginger Ale helps him keep that simulated sugar fix his body craved.
Your sitting there now wondering what does this have to do with hockey. See in the Jackets organization has thought of a great idea for more an more people to feel comfortable at their games. Picture sitting with three or four of your buddies at the game. They are all into the game but you drew the designated driver card. Down an depressed as you watch your friends continue to fall to the sweet poison called beer. More often than not they will notice that you are not drinking whether they know your the DD or not they start to badger you. They turn to insults all friendly but it starts to get to you. Now its your turn to buy a round whether your drinking or not your still out with your friends an you cannot be that wuss. Going up to that beer counter you are about to get 3 beers an 1 bottled water. When you see it there on tap Ginger Ale. Ginger Ale the odd pop with a great taste often used as a remedy for an upset stomach. Yes this cold refreshing non-alcoholic beverage looks alot like your beloved beer. Now you get back to your seat 3 beers an a Ginger Ale in hand. Your buddies all cheering you on. In the back of your mind you are thinking "man im a genius, these suckers dont even know". So you look cool in your buddies eyes and your staying safe for you and everyone else.
The moral of this story is as of now the Jackets have installed Canada Dry Ginger Ale taps at all beverage stands. So have a ice cold Ginger ale and enjoy the sweet odd ball pop or just fool a group of belligerent buddies.
