The Florida Panthers are excited about the upcoming season and will be introducing the Panthers players to the fans and the media.

The one player that the Panthers will be looking for a big season out of is starting goaltender Roberto Luongo.

Roberto is a proven veteran and is one of the best goalies in the league. Luongo took the Panthers all the way to the finals in year 2 and is looking for a return trip.

"We have an excellent team and we will be in the thick of things in the upcoming season. We have a great combination of proven veteran experience and youth. We are on a mission this year to give veteran winger Petr Bondra another chance at the cup before he retires. After being there in year 2 and coming so close and not winning just makes you crave it more." Luongo told reporters "I have been preparing during the offseason more. I wanted to be in game shape going into training camp and making sure we get off to a good start. Getting off to a good start will be key with all the talented teams. Even more important will be to sustaining that good start and how we deal with the inevitable adversity that all teams face during the regular season. I, as are all members of the Panthers, are confident that we will be and have a successfull season this year."
