When it came time for the coaching staff for the Edmonton Junior team to decide on a starting goalie after the pre-season there was no question but to give Dave Leneveu the nod. Leneveu, A 22 year old Fernie, British Columbia native has answered the coaches call for leadership between the pipes with 2 straight wins including 1 shut-out, an amazing .957 save percentage and a 1.00 GAA. The Junior squad has been playing with a lot of confidence with Dave between the pipes which should make for a solid season. It all starts from Goalie out and if this is an earlier indicator of Leneveu's performence it makes Edmonton a definite contender in Junior play.
