Panthers Introduce Newly acquired Eric Daze

The Florida Panthers held a news conference today to introduce their newest acquisition Eric Daze.

The 6'6" - 230 lb rw'er was picked dealt to the Panthers from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for Adam Deadmarsh.

Daze will bring a more disciplined game to the Panthers already potent line up and will make his debut tonight against the Penguins.

"I am thrilled to be here and part of the Panthers organization." Daze told reporters. "This team is full of talent and I just want to pinch in and help when and where I can. My role on this team will be different then in Minnesota mostly due to the already talented wingers that are here. I am happy that a trade was made so early in the season. It will give me lots of time to get used to my new surroundings and team mates."

"Eric will help us out with our pk."GM Perrault said. "He has great discipline and good puck control as well as bringing his leadership qualities into the dressing room. He is a proven veteran and gives us a little more depth. We are excited to have him in a Panthers uniform."
