Florida Jrs Winning Streak Stopped At 4

NEW YORK

The Florida Jrs flew into Ny the other day to play the Ranger Jrs riding a season high 4 game winning streak.

The Florida Jrs got on the board when Igor Radulov scored at 3:09 for a 1-0 lead. Nikita Korovkin made it 2-0 just under a minute later at 4:05. Rangers goalie Terry Denike settled down after Florida's second goal and was solid the rest of the way stopping 21 of the 23 shots he faced to help lead his team to victory. Miguel Delisle cut the lead to one when he scored his first goal of the season at 8:47. Jekabs Redlihs tied the game at 15:44 while on the power play.

Shawn Collymore got the only goal of the second period when he notched his 4th of the season at 6:28. That gave the Rangers a 3-2 lead and all they would need to secure the win and give the Panther Jr squad their first loss in 5 games.

The Florida Jrs have an amazing 8 days before they play again. At that time they will be in Los Angeles to take on the Kings Jrs and are hoping the rest helps.
