Bruins deny allegations

Earlier this week, rumors began swirling that Boston Bruins GM Joshua Anderson had become pals with Tom Kozlowski, the recently returned General Manager of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Allegedly, in an effort to unload Matt Walker, Anderson told Kozlowski that he "was [his] boy" so he could acquire Walker for a song.

Immediately, the whispers began that the two were friends, and were attending sporting events together and drinking from the same case of beer. Upon catching wind of the rumors, Anderson called a press conference.

"I categorically deny all allegations." Anderson stated. "Tom is simply another GM who may be interested in acquiring Matt Walker. In order to sweeten the deal, I told Tom that I'd give him a better-than-fair price since he's 'my boy.' But we all know that is not true - I'm a fan of the Green Engine. That was just trade negotiations."

Anderson continued, "As further proof, I'd like to give everyone in the league one of the t-shirts I am wearing today as further proof. Please, stop by the front desk for your copy. We have all the way up to size 5XL. By accepting a t-shirt, you are opening the possibility of being contacted about acquiring Matt Walker, but by no means are you committed to such a move."

The gathered media conceded they accepted the story.
