Bruins offer to hold GM Trading Conference

After repeatedly seeing the same stupidity executed in trade offers, the Boston Bruins and their GM, Joshua Anderson, have extended an invitation to Jason Schmuck of Ottawa and Bruce Spracklin of Tampa Bay to co-host a conference for all GMs on trading etiquette.

"In recent weeks, the three of us have experienced some of the same repeated moronacy when it comes to fielding offers. Offering star players, we each have received dang near insulting and vulture-like offers, all with the same lame excuses," Anderson said when announcing the invite to the WHDH cameras.

Anderson continued, "Even worse are the guys who come to you, asking if such a player is available. When responding you'll listen to offers, the brilliant response comes back - 'Take a look at my roster and tell me what you want'... Gentleman! That is NOT making an offer, that is asking for an offer... which if we wanted to do that, we would have!"

The GM Conference is tentatively slated to include courses on "Balanced deals", "Knowing when you're being an asshole", "The art of making an offer", and "Actually making an offer versus just being a douche".

Much like a good conference, the worst offenders will be invited to speak. GMs can look for their invites in the email shortly.
