KOVOLEV HAPPY TO MOVE WEST
The Canucks finally pulled off another blockbuster trade aquiring disgruntled winger Alexie Kovolev from the floundering Hurricanes.
When Canuck gm BLKHAWK heard about the tense situation in the Carolina dressing room he jumped at the chance to get Kovy into a Canuck uniform.When informed of the trade the talanted Russian could hardly contaain his excitement.He was quoted saying"that redneck dressing room would not let me play my style of hockey,it seems like its geared for canadian,s and the rest of us are outcasts". Looking at the hurricanes recent draft choices its easy to see why he felt like that.
Canucks plan to get Kovolev directly into the fray lining him up with lang and bertuzzi as a true #1 line.Mr Bertuzzi better pick up his game soon or he will be the next big name looking for a new home.
