Oilers on Fire!

You see nothing but smiles in the Edmonton Oilers front office as of late, The Oilers are 7-3-0 in their last 10 and thanks to the steady leadership and tremendous scoring by Kariya, Allision and Frolov. A lot of Defensive depth has been acquired by the Oilers and it has shown up on the score board. To add to the depth Hold Out Grand-Pierre has just signed a 3 year deal with Edmonton and is expected to be in the Edmonton line-up for their next game. The Oilers are sitting pretty in 3rd place in the Norris division and hope to continue the dominance Vs. the struggling Buffalo Sabres tomorrow night.

Junior Oilers Continue to struggle despite excellent goaltending
A goalie can't put the puck in the net and the Junior Oilers Forwards can't seem to either. In what can be conisidered a flat season no-one has really shown any NHL potential in the Junior Oiler line-up other then star goalie Dave Leneveu. With one of the lowest GF/G it's a good thing they have the spectacular Leneveu back-stopping them. If no-one steps up and starts producing soon trades are on the horizon.
