Ottawa Pro and JR suit up tonight

GM Schmucky plans to sleep through the pro Senators game tonight as he has already predicted the outcome to be ugly!! Although the Sabres are a bottom-basement team right along side the Senators, Ottawa was embarrassed last time they played, two nights ago, and Schmucky would rather take in the JR game where his JR Sens are in first in the Campbell Conference and only 2 points out of first overall.

When asked if the Pro Senators are making any adjustments after last game Schmucky laughed and stated, "Well, Turek has taken a pummeling the last few nights facing over 33 shots in each of his last 6 appearances so, we'll give him a rest and start Fred Brathwaite who has had some pretty good performances this year. Otherwise, we're pretty much up Shit Creek without a paddle."

As for the Juniors, Brian Maclellan returns to the lineup after a 3 week injury tonight to replace suspended Peter Reynolds on the first line Defensive pairing. It has also been reported that young superstar Alexander Semin will be ready to play next game as he is about 97% healed from his 6 week injury. Brian O'Hanley, the #2 dman, should be prepared to play that same game. So, after facing adversity the last 2 months with 3 major stars injured for significant periods of time and some major players attending camps, the JR Sens have faired well in first place. Imagine the potential when they have a full lineup later this week!!
