Pens trying to save the team, and rebound into the playoffs

With new GM Earl Jackson hard at work and waiting on the trade prevention to end, the Penguins suddenly have a chance to make the playoffs and keep the team in Pittsburgh. At press time they are only four points away from a playoff seed in the Eastern Conference. With 31 games currently left on the schedule, the Pens firmly believe that they can contend after a few moves once the trade prevention is over in another day. Currently the Penguins have a big financial problem and are hoping that by bringing in some new faces they can generate the revenue from the crowd. With Patrick Elias the highest paid player and also the most popular the Pens have a major issue on their hands. Do they trade him for several new stars, or keep him and trade several other to get the supporting cast? We will find out in a few days when the first trade goes down!!
