Dear Mr. Dictator....
A disturbing transformation has taken place the president of CLUTCH over the last season.
Ryan Long started out fresh faced and positive. A welcome burst of youth and enthusiasm in a league that had started to grow stagnant. A new hope if you will. The young Ryan Long possessed enormous management powers and was loved by all.
As Ryan grew in experience and developed his powers he showed great potential but showed some disturbing flashes of tempermentalism and anger. No one thought much of it at the time.
As time went by a the face of our presient began to change. The good spirits that we had so grown to know became replaced by cynicism and anger.
Ryan then began to undergo a disturmbing physical transformation. His health deteriorated and we were all told it was due to the stress of running such a successful league until finally....
Ryan circumvented law and justice and took supreme control of Clutch with a merciless and devestating iron fist by completeling ignoring and the constituion of Clutch by making unilateral decisions without consulting the appeals commitee.
The GM of the Rangers issued the following statment today:
"In regards to your comments about my email I have to apologize that I thought you didn't respond. Rogers shut down my high speed internet 2 weeks earlier than they should have and this somehow affected my email until I logged on to it. That being said however I have hired legal counsel to dispute what I deem to be a disturbing abuse of power within this league. Please allow me to introduce my lawyer: Denny Crane."
"Denny Crane. I have advised my client to stop talking. He's really not good at it. In hopes of ending this amicably I've provided a few quotes from the most important document in Clutch affairs: The Rule book.
Whenever a rule is in doubt, or in question, or when there is a conflict requiring a rule interpretation, GM’s should be aware of the process by which such decisions are made through. The President functions a good deal like the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court is the last step in the legal process not the first and final.
In fact the way he operates is modeled directly on it. This includes committee heads and the Appeals and Arbitration Committee. They hear evidence from both sides of the issue; look at all relevant facts, such as logs or witnesses or emails.
The President should overseeing this comittee and it is their job to discuss rules on the basis of, among other things:
whether the INTENTION of the rule was to allow such things.
As we have argued and shown this rule is not intended to suspend Lady Byng candidates for minor infractions.
That is all.
Denny Crane.
