Osgood Nogood in Sens last two games

The Senators have been blown out, so to speak, in their last two outings. A 4-1 loss to the Kings and a 6-0 loss to the Flames has GM Schmucky FUMING at the recent lack of enthusiasm and effort put forth by Ottawa players.

Chris Osgood, acquired in the offseason via trade, has allowed 10 goals in his last 2 starts. For a supposed #1 goalie, this is unacceptable. Even though defenseman Tom Poti has been out with injuries and the defense has looked weak allowing 38 and 37 shots respectively, you need your goalie to steal one for you once and a while, that's what they get paid to do.

The Senators are actively looking to make some moves. Although happy with their play up to the last two games this year, GM Schmucky wants to beef up his D both on Defense and Forward. They seem to be lacking a Defensive forward to kill penalties and play against that deadly first line that most teams seem to have this season.

"Anyone can go, for the right price".

That's the motto in Ottawa right now. Make Schmucky an offer, who knows what could happen?
