Last year he had 16 goals and 25 assists with 115 hits and 0 PIMs in 79 games.
Marleau was born in Aneroid, Saskatchewan where the best part of growing up was being able to skate at any time. Patrick, or "Patty" as he's known, like all kinds of music and his favorite movies are the Austin Powers series. On the small screen he's a big reality fan and loves "Big Brother," "Amazing Race," and "Survivor." His favorite vacation spot is Maui, and he loves chicken and pasta. He also has a dog named Daisy.
In 2001, Patty established a foundation with ex-Montreal Canadien Trent McCleary. The foundation provides financial backing for less fortunate kids to participate in all sports.
When it comes to hockey, Marleau's idol is former teammate Mario Lemieux. His three wishes for career and life are a healthy family, Stanley Cup, and staying healthy.
