Boston elects to give Senators a not-so-warm-welcome

The first two hundred fans to arrive with paid admission for tonight's game will receive authentic Pork Barrel Sticks, in honor of the visiting Senators (of Ottawa).

Boston, having spent almost a full day at home following the Never Ending Road Trip, will welcome the Senators to the Fleet Center for a 7:05 start. Hot off Keith Tkachuk's first goal of the season, Boston is looking to continue a lukewarm streak which has found them receiving points for four straight games. That run, coupled with a six game skid in Atlanta, has elevated the Bruins out of the Wales basement - for now, at least.

"Losing sucks," GM Joshua Anderson said during his pre-game press conference, "But we will not stand one more game of the Senator's tyranny! They may be in fifth place, but they will be first tonight - the first losers!"

The Bruins have improved their overall statistics in the recent week's play, increasing their offensive output to almost three goals a game, thought still allowing nearly four. Moreover, the team is allowing the most shots per game in the league, a number which seems to continue to escalate with each game.

Will the Bruins close the debt ceiling? Or will the Senators spend at will? Find out tonight!
