Mixed Camp Results for Junior Capitals

After three weeks with no camps, the Washington Junior Capitals finally had two players attend speed camp in Week 4. The results were mixed, as Cory Urquhart struggled while Siarhei Kolasau made big strides.

For Urquhart, it was his second straight year struggling at speed camp and management is rightly concerned with his lack of development in this area. Good speed is a huge asset for any player, and with the amazing training staff at CLUTCH camps, there's no excuse for poor development. Cory needs to step it up in future camps or he may never make it out of the junior ranks.

Kolasau, on the other hand, really took to the training and made good improvement in his speed. He's still not exactly a burner, but the positive result bodes well for the future.

Washington has one player attending the Week 5 strength camp after an injury forced another to miss. Peter Pohl will be going to hit the weight room, while Patrick O'Sullivan will get his chance later in the season.
