Tired Turek Troubled by Total

The Sens played their 3rd game in 3 nights last night and showed some obvious signs of fatigue. The Senators played one on the road, travelled home for a game, and then played on the road again. It was a tough travel schedule but that is still no excuse for the teams incompetance last night as they fell 4-2 to the Wild.

Defense was obviously the issue as the Ottawa blueline gave up 38 shots and put Turek on the injured list again! This is the second time in 3 games tha Turek has been tired after facing 30+ shots and it looks like it will lead to another Fred Brathwaite start in the 1am game tonight.

The Senators will most likely shift up their defensive pairings in hope of protecting their goalie a little better and getting on the offensive for a larger part of the game. The one bright spot yet again for the Sens was their tough Powerplay as their only 2 goals were on the PP by Grosek and Fata.

The Sens hope for a better result after a night's rest.
