Joudrey, Laniel Shine at Scoring Camp

The Washington Junior Capitals received great news recently as Andrew Joudrey and Fabien Laniel earned glowing reports at the recently completed scoring camp. The two forwards showed excellent improvement in their scoring skills and will rejoin the team shortly.

Joudrey, 20, is a 5-11, 197 pound center in his first season with the Capitals. He's struggled to get regular ice time this season and has just seven assists in 22 games. With his new-found scoring touch, however, Andrew should see more play and with better players.

Laniel, 21, is a 6-0, 196 pound left wing and is a veteran for the Junior Capitals. In 21 games, Fabien has eight goals and four assists. He also has 83 PIMs. Laniel's shooting percentage is excellent at 24.2, and after his performance at shooting camp, he should see even more opportunities to light the lamp.

"We're very pleased with the work Andrew and Fabien put in at scoring camp. After a couple lackluster results from other players, we needed a couple guys to step up and show everyone else what we expect from camp performance," GM John Henry said when asked about the camp results.

This week, it's defense camp, and Washington has two players in attendance.
