Rangers GM Blows Up Line Up
A major team shakeup went down in New York last night as the New York Rangers jettisoned 4 players.
Gone are Martin Erat, Brendan Morrow, Fedor Tyutin and Brooks Orpik - all of whom were underachieveing.
The departure of Erat was a major shock as Rangers GM Burns had admantaly refused to look at any offer or even consider moving the young superstar until tonight
Headed to the Rangers are: Wade Redden, Taylor Pyatt, Radek Dvorak and two fourth round draft picks... all of whom are underachieving.
We're extremely excited to have a superstar defenceman like Wade Redden on our blue line," gushed Burns. Pyatt is an excellent young player and Dvorak is not a step down from Erat at present. We feel we're better on D with Redden in the place of Tyutin and Orpik. Short term and long term we feel we've improved our team. Morrow had done nothing for us since we picked him up so good riddance to him. Godamn I'll miss Erat though."
"We set the goal of making the playoffs this year and godamn it WE WILL OR MORE HEADS WILL ROLL!"
