Rollercoaster Season Hospitalizes Ranger GM

It was just a short week ago that Rangers GM David Burns suffered a mild psychotic episode in Toronto and was brought down with a tranquilizer dart to save his own life.

The frustrated GM was hospitalized last night after a huge win over the St. Louis blues due to "stress related heart issues."

The Rangers, despite playing less than inspiring hockey against the weakest teams in the league over the last 5 games have been bouncing up and down the standings with each win and loss.

A loss to the Maple Leafs saw them looking up at 4 teams, a win against the Blues saw only two teams ahead of them, another loss to the bottom dwelling Flames dropped them to 3 teams ahead of them for the playoffs and another win against the Blues has them only two points out of the playoffs with no one ahead of them. After the win Burns jumped up and down screaming "It's possible!" over and over again. He then collapsed and ambulances were called.

Burns was hear mumbling incoherently as he was rushed to the hospital. A reporter caught his ramblings on tape. He was mumbling the following words over and over again: "Brendan Morrow...must go... Orpik, Kloucek, Dunham also available..."
