The Boston Bruins Season Forecast - Tomas Kopecky

After seeing action in seventy-three games last season, Kopecky holds the current edge for the fourth center spot.

This passing center notched twice as many assists as goals last season playing primarily on the fourth line (5-10-15). However, with the recent acquisiton of Saku Koivu, it looks like his opportunity to move up a line has diminished. He also has a propensity to turn the puck over at times, which serves little purpose except to infuriate teammates and every coach he has played for in his career.

Experience and an understanding of the offense, though, serve in his favor. However, should one of the kids make a run in the farm and show themselves to be deserving of an opportunity, he would likely be the odd man out. Worse, if the offense should sputter and necessitate a shuffling of forwards to garner more goalscoring, despite decent play, he could fall victim to a numbers game and find himself seated.

Prediction - 74 games played; 10-16-26
