Oilers name Captains

The Oilers have announced both their Junior and Pro captains and are looking forward to the pre-season which starts next week.

Pro:

Captain: Paul Kariya
Kariya was a captain in Anaheim for 5 years prior to being traded to the Oilers and is no stranger to the roll. Kariya is expected to have another outstanding season for the Oilers.

Assistant: Jason Allison
Allison stepped down this year as captain of the Oilers to be assistant to Kariya, Allison and Kariya is one of the best line-ups any team has and between both of them they are expected to score about 165 pts or so.

Assistant: Adrian Aucoin
Aucoin was acquired last season in a trade by the Oilers and was one of the best defensmen in the league. Aucoin will lead the Oilers defensive line-up and is key to the Oilers Power Play and penalty kill.

In Junior; Evengi Isakov was surprisingly elected captain of the squad, Isakov has improved so much over the last season he is expected to be a 1st line center for the Oilers Junior squad.
