The Senators have now lost 2 in a row after their 3-2 loss to the Lightning this evening. Roman Turek gave up 3 goals in his debut appearance of the season while Osgood was given a rest before suiting up Sunday morning in Ottawa.

The Senators played a hard fought, well disciplined game tonight in Tampa Florida but just couldn't find an answer late in the third period to tie it up. The lines seemed to fair well and the game was quite even. Was goaltending the difference? Maybe. But, Ottawa simply needs to score more than 2 goals a game in order to win, especially when their starter is watching from the bench.

The rumour mill is beginning to swirl in Ottawa about the possibility of youngster, Pierre-Marc Bouchard moving to the 1st line in order to create some quality chances. Coach Martin is unhappy with Brendan Morrison's lack of consistency on that first line.

The Sens will stick with what's familiar against the winless Flyers tomorrow morning. However, Schmucky says if they can't get the offense fired up against the Flyers, changes are a comin'.
