Sens Shutout to end 7 game Unbeaten streak

The Senators unbeaten streak came to an end last night as they suffered and embarrassing loss at the hands of the Leafs.

Ottawa's 4-0 loss marked the end of the longest streak in franchise history and also, and more importantly, the end of injuries that have kept Chris Osgood out for 4 of the last 5 games.

Osgood suffered from fatigue that saw him miss 3 games in a row, including the 4-0 loss, and 4 of 5. Osgood will get the start tonight against the Bruins.

Boston and Ottawa tied 3-3 just a few nights ago at the Corel Centre in Ottawa. The Sens are hoping to take sole posession of 2nd place in the conference with a win tonight and are looking to their stars to get it done.

Selanne, Morrison, Kovalev and Tarnstrom have all been stellar of late after a stumbling start to the season. This could pose to be a problem for the Bruins as these 3 forwards log more than 20 mins. of icetime per game, and if they're on, they'll get goals. The real question is, can Chris Osgood hold his own tonight versus the Bruins, or will he be rusty coming off of an injury?
