Buffalo Sabres Skidding into Financial Catastrophe...
Buffalo – A.P.
The Buffalo Sabres returned home the other day after a nine game road trip over the span of eleven days. The trip turned up mediocre results for a team with high expectations as their homecoming brought home a 5-3-1 record and have placed the Buffalo Sabres tied for second place with the Pittsburgh Penguins at 59 points each, but the Buffalo Sabres have one more game played on the Penguins resorting in the Pittsburgh Penguins to hold sole possession of the second overall place.
The Buffalo Sabres look to bring back their life with their upcoming schedule as we look into the telescope to see the future of the Buffalo Sabres winning fifteen of their next twenty games with twelve of them being at home.
However financial trouble has been the biggest news coming out of Buffalo Town though as many fans are upset over talks of team relocation as the Buffalo Sabres are currently in the red financially and are having trouble stabilizing the once proud hockey city. Talks have placed the new possible cities as Kansas City, Hartford, and even Las Vegas. But if relocation was to occur, it won’t be until after the season and by the looks of things, the Sabres will need to win the Stanley Cup for the playoff revenue to save the teams future in Buffalo.
