Sens Look to make it 3 Wins in a Row

The Ottawa Senators won their 2nd in a row last night against the LA Kings. Michael Ryder scored 2 goals in the victory, most likely fueled by rumours that he was on the trade block due to his poor offensive performance so far this year. Morrison and Nedved both landed their 5th point in two games and more notably, Nedved scored his 4th goal in two games.

Turek was solid in the victory but faced only 16 shots. Defense was the story of the night as the Sens would not allow the Kings to get anywhere near the net, which is maybe why Turek was caught sleeping on a couple of the goals.

The Senators currently sit in first in their division and are tied for 2nd in the Wales Conference as they go into a nice night off tonight. However, things get serious again as they will continue on their road trip to play against the Predators from Nashville who currently sit in first place in the Campbell conference and have a solid, balanced attack that will be difficult for the young Ottawa Defense to contain.
