Leafs send 2 JR to camp, possible fast tracking?

the smell of desperation was rank around Leaf land, even after their win against a strugling Tampa squad. Rumors were swirling that the Leafs may camp a few juniors stars and bring them up to the pro team this season to help what some say is a pathetic club.

The 2 players off to camp are none other than Cory Perry and Alexander Ovechkin. If this is indeed true, a few things have to happen in order for this to be even remotely worth it.

1. Hurricanes gm CANNOT be rolling the dice
2. They need to max out on their chances at camp with solid results.
3. Not catch the pathetic bug that is going around the pro camp
4.Hurricanes gm CANNOT be rolling the dice (ya its that important that its up here twice)

Even with good results, is it asking too much for these youngsters to comeup to the pro to perform? It could backfire and then you risk having 2 more players on your pro who suck.

Heck, if it works, maybe call up a bunch of players. Maybe the Leafs need to acquire more picks. Maybe the Leafs need to trade away all of their pro stiffs? Maybe They should change their team name to Maplebuds.

then again, maybe all of this is just more moronic talk from head office.

ah, if only we were named the Islanders.

hmm...can we ?
