Washington Sends 2 to Scoring Camp
The Washington Junior Capitals sent two players to this week's scoring camp with the hope of furthering their development. Andrew Joudrey and Fabien Laniel will make the trek to scoring camp and miss a week's worth of games.
Joudrey, 20, plays center and checks in at 5-11 and 197 pounds. He's in his first season with Washington and has seven assists in 22 games. Joudrey hails from Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada and came to the Caps with the 131st pick in the draft.
Laniel, 21, plays on the left wing and is 6-0 and 196 pounds. Fabien has eight goals and four assist with 83 PIMs in 21 games so far this season. Laniel hails from St. Martine, Quebec, Canada.
The Capitals expect good things from both players at camp, and the team will surely miss them while they're gone.
