Senators getting ready for LPGA season

The Ottawa Senators have started some intense training. They have passed the halfway point of this regular season and look absolutely terrible. Therefore, coach Schmucky has put them on an intense training regiment effective today. However, they are not going to be practicing hockey since they are in the basement and can't seem to stop losing. No, they will be training for this years LPGA Open tourney.

"The team looks like a bunch of women in a men's league" stated GM Schmucky, "so we may as well put some skirts on and try to compete in something".

The Sens have made a few attempts at trading some of their cast but continue to get offers that would not improve the future of their club. Teams have expressed interest in guys like Morrison and Poti, but the offers are to continue to move to a young, developing club and Schmucky wants to try to compete next season, not continue to grow. Schmucky is looking to package some of his players, young and/or old, to pick up guys that will possibly lead them to a playoff birth next year.

For now, the Sens practice long drives from the ladies' tees and short putts on the green to attempt to at least compete at the appropriate level!
