Capitals Head to Ottawa

The Washington Capitals aim to return to winning ways on Day 140 when they visit the Ottawa Senators. Washington is eighth in the Wales Conference at 30-29-11. Ottawa is 25-39-7.

Zigmund Palffy leads the way for Washington with 24 goals and 42 assists for 66 points. Center Patrick Marleau has 22 goals and 31 assists, while Anson Carter adds 25 goals and 52 points. Mikael Renberg contributs 48 points, and Frantisek Lukes is doing well with 20 goals and 24 assists. Todd Warriner is chipping in with 42 points.

On defense, Rob Blake has seven goals and 34 assists for 41 points. Bryan Berard adds 11 goals and 18 assists, and Dan Boyle has four goals and 25 assists.

In goal, Manny Legace is 24-24-8 with a 3.17 GAA and .883 save percentage. Backup Peter Skudra is 5-5-3 with a 3.02 GAA and .891 save percentage.

Ottawa has a pair of forwards with more than 60 points. Brendan Morrison leads the way with 27 goals and 36 assists, and Petr Nedved has 27 goals and 35 assists. Teemu Selanne adds 50 points, while Michael Ryder contributes 16 goals and 31 assists. Michal Grosek is also playing well with 45 points.

On the blue line, Dick Tarnstrom has 10 goals and 30 assists. Tom Poti adds 34 points, and Alexei Zhitnik is chipping with six goals and 27 assists.

Between the pipes, Roman Turek is 19-31-3 with a 3.79 GAA and .873 save percentage. Fred Brathwaite is 6-8-3 with a 3.15 GAA and .887 save percentage.
