Capitals Travel to Chicago

The Washington Capitals visit Chicago on Day 141 for an inter-conference battle with the Blackhawks. Washington is tied for sixth in the Wales Conference at 31-29-11. Chicago is seventh in the Cambell at 35-30-6.

Dynamic winger Zigmund Palffy leads the way for the Capitals with 26 goals and 45 assists for 71 points. Patrick Marleau adds 25 goals and 34 assists, while Anson Carter has 25 goals and 54 points. Mikael Renberg contributes 50 points to the attack, and speedy winger Frantisek Lukes has 20 goals and 24 assists.

On defense, Rob Blake has seven goals and 34 assists for 41 points. Bryan Berard adds 11 goals and 19 assists, while Dan Boyle has four goals and 25 assists.

In goal, Manny Legace is 24-24-8 with a 3.17 GAA and .883 save percentage. Peter Skudra is 6-5-3 with a 2.96 GAA and .891 save percentage.

Chicago's top scorer is Petr Sykora with 37 goals and 45 assists for 82 points. Scott Gomez adds 68 points, while new arrival Yanic Perreault has 24 goals and 33 assists. Niklas Lundstrom contibutes 51 points, and Ivan Kolozvary is chipping in with 16 goals and 28 assists.

On the blue line, Sandis Ozolinsh adds to the offense with 13 goals and 30 assists. Kenny Jonsson is also playing well with 12 goals and 22 assists.

Between the pipes, Dan Cloutier is a workhorse with 3986 minutes played in 70 games. His record is 33-30-5 with a 3.12 GAA and .890 save percentage.
