Junior Capitals Host Nashville

The Washington Junior welcome the Nashville Junior Predators on Day 159 in a must-win game for the home side. Washington is four points out of the playoffs at 32-34-12. Nashville is fifth in the Campbell Conference at 35-32-11.

Sean Bergenheim leads the Washington offense with 19 goals and 38 assists. Patrick O'Sullivan adds 20 goals and 31 assists, while Zbynek Novak has 19 goals and 28 assists. Sean Kotary contributes 44 points, and Lance Moynch is chipping in with 42 points.

On defense, Jakub Cutta is back on the ice after an injury with eight goals and 38 assists. Igor Shadulov adds 33 points, and Brett Carson has 26 points in 50 games.

Between the pipes, Robert Muller continues to impress with his late-season run. The netminder is 7-1-3 with a 2.11 GAA and .921 save percentage. Brad Topping is 14-24-6 with a 3.08 GAA and .896 save percentage. Daniel Taylor is 11-9-3 with a 2.87 GAA and .897 save percentage.

The Junior Predators are led by four forwards with 50 or more points. Scottie Upshall has 18 goals and 38 assists, Jeff Lucky adds 13 goals and 41 assists, Randy Lowe has a team-high 29 goals and 51 points, and Patrick Bartschi contributes 16 goals and 34 assists.

On the blue line, Martin Tuma has 11 goals and 20 assists. Matt Greene adds 28 points, while Daniel Fernholm and Anton Lavrentiev contribute 25 points each.

In goal, Todd Ford is 20-21-7 with a 2.91 GAA and .895 save percentage. Peter Hamerlik is 12-11-4 with a 3.30 GAA and .892 save percentage. Rustam Sidikov is 3-0-0 with a 3.76 GAA and .860 save percentage.
