The Boston Bruins Season Preview - The Leftwingers
Two of the six faces on the left wing will be new to the Fleet Center this year, but are familiar to the logo. They are call-ups from the Providence club, Marin Samuelsson and Andreas Lindstrom.
Both,combined with returning winger Matt Hartigan, should see action this year as the Bruins prepare to shuffle their line-up based on match-ups, playing their more defensive unit against the stronger offenses, and attempting to exploit defenses whenever possible. Lindstrom is expected to draw the short straw, though, and see the least ice time.
Martin Havlat and Jochan Hecht will both return to lead the offensive output from the left side, which should continue to be entertaining and exciting for fans to watch. Both are planning - in their minds - to contend for the scoring title by hell or highwater.
The oddman out will be Pierre Turgeon, who is expected to see little, if any, game action.
