Senators still looking to move players

The Senators are looking to improve their depth and tenacity at all forward positions. They are ideally looking to grab a solid #1 C or even just a depth player or two at the wing. They have voiced wanting to move Zhitnik and some of the other depth style players for improvements at any forward position..a #1 C is not a must, just ideal.

As for Zhitnik, he is a solid stay at home Defenseman looking for a new home to stay at. He has a whopping contract that Schmucky has NO PROBLEM restructuring in order to get a deal done! However, the Sens are not desperate to move him as he is valuable to the team. They just feel that he is one of the more valuable available players on the team that they can afford to give up.
