Leafs road victories easy pain of home opener loss

Knowledge is indeed power......

This was proven by the Leafs who won back to back road games against both the Panthers and Oilers. The commish had posted the schedule, so the Leaf's coach had time to come up with a strategy. It paid off, with solid 4-2 and 4-3 wins on the road.

When asked what this was, the coach only said the following....

"1. Put goalie in net BEFORE the puck is dropped.
2. Let your other 5 skaters be on the ice as well, with the centreman actually taking the draw"

The first game of the year, those 2 steps were not done out of protest, and the results werent pretty. A photo of the start of the game against the Flames finally surfaced. As you can see, it wasnt pretty.

The man is obviously a coaching master. Lets just hope his protesting of the league's with-holding of information is over. If anything, they can take solace in the fact that a decision was indeed made on the JR camping situation. Maybe there still is a few more protests coming since there are still unresolved league issues to be addressed, like the activity point system. If a protest was to happen, it would most likely be at a home game. The Leafs have a few upcoming, with the next 2 at home against the Avs and the Hawks.

If anything, it should be interesting.
