Senators Break Slump Vs. Hawks

The Ottawa Senators saw their huge 3 game losing streak come to an end last night after beating the Hawks at home, 3-2.

The story continues to be that the Sens can't score! Their top line of Selanne, Kovalev and Morrison was again, held pointless for the entire game and actually saw Teemu go down with an injury due to a VICIOUS high stick. Teemu should recover quickly but this will give GM Schmucky an opportunity to try some different combos on that top line.

Osgood played well last night stopping all but 2 shots and standing on his head at the end of the game to secure the victory for Ottawa.

Sejna had his first multi-point night of the season last which Ottawa desperately needed in order to get back on track. The Sens have the night off tonight which should be beneficial to healing Selanne prior to their next matchup.
